I struggled with the choice of adjectives! Is it an easier weekend, is it a schedule filled with teams below them in the standings, what is it ? So I settled on (took the easy way out) less hectic.

Friday we host Nepean Raiders who have been rapidly improving. The addition of Chris Abbott and the speedy Matt McQuade hasn’t hurt them. On Sunday McQuade scored and then Abbott got the winner in the shootout versus Cornwall.

Last night Matt McQuade scored the shootout winner versus the Ottawa Junior Senators.

I would be remiss though if I didn’t mention , the player coming our way in the trade, Sam Allison, scored 3 goals in 2 games for the Braves and was selected the CCHL Player of th Week.

We close out the weekend for our first visit of the year to the rapidly improving Navan Grads.
